Dear Dr. Liu,
My name is Gabrielle Hultgren and I am interested in your credential program to further my
education in elementary teaching. I heard about your program before I even applied to CSU
Stanislaus which interested me to study here. Ive graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Liberal
studies from California State University Stanislaus. I would like to continue there in your
program to complete my credentials. Ive cared for children most of my life, from babysitting to
teaching them the basics, and I hope to continue doing so.
I have been caring for children on my own since I was twelve years old. I have a really big
family with lots of nieces and nephews, and Im the youngest of four children. Of course this
made me a continuous candidate to babysit. This has only made my love for children grow
tremendously. Not only have I cared for children in my family, Ive also been a teachers aide in
a second grade classroom.
