1: Literature Review and Study


Violent video games do contribute to youth violence. In some cases violent video
games desensitize young childrens minds and some instances children are so into
the game that they believe that what they do in video games in real life.
Aggression is also something that is learned when children play violent video
games. Violent video also cause some children to be anti-social. There are some
people that say the complete opposite of what I stated above. This issue is more a
big opinion than factual. In reality you can relate violent video games, rap music,
violent movies and television shows all in the same light. With the number of youth
playing these violent games only a small amount of violence comes from it, but in
my opinion that violence issue falls more on the parents that dont teach their
children that it is only entertainment.
