She has proven herself to be a hard worker, self-starter and asset to education. Her leadership with STEAM efforts in the county has. been admirable. She has led the efforts in Region C to attain, store, distribute and assist faculty with STEM curriculum via large crates that include everything a teacher needs to promote and teach STEM. It has been a pleasure working with Ms. Shaver for two years with the STEAM Expo held at the Universal Advanced Manufacturing Center on our campus. She is tireless in her efforts for that day- long event. From a’selfish perspective, Ms. Shaver understands the community college industry and helps us promote our programs to students. She supports our efforts for advancing Career and College Promise offerings as well as other new and innovative efforts that our two organizations share.
