Writing is clear and concise and free of unnecessary material. Prose is of collegelevel quality. Support
Points are supported where needed with well-chosen evidence according to the task, including evidence from the text, personal experiences, examples, et cetera. Mechanics
Writing is well edited, with few, if any, errors in spelling, grammar, and punctuation. Parenthetical citations are formatted according to MLA guidelines, and the response as a whole follows MLA standards.
