Delegates from the American Seed
Trade Association, returning from a
«three days” conyention in Atlantic City,
which held its final session on Thursday,
were yesterday the guests of W. Atlee
‘Burpee, -whose specialty in the world of
“flowers is sweet peas, at his farm at
Hookford, near Doylestown.
The visitors were then served with
Juncheen on the large lawn surrounding
the house. After inspécting a new sys-
tem of irrigation the delegates were
called together by Albert MeCul-
Jough, whe voiced the appreciation
of the courtesies extended to them by
“their host, after which they were taken
to the train, which arrived in Philadel-
phia shortly before six o’clock. Many of
the western delegates started for their
homes after arriving in the city.
