Lnown as Roberta De Janon, grand-
daughter of Robert Buist, deceased, who
startled “the commumty four years 2ga
by eloping with Ferdmand PD Cohen, a
waiter in the Bellevue-Stratford ilotel,
will receive income for life from 11 per
cent. of the proceeds of the large seed
busmess left by her grandfather, as well
as $8000, which 1s the balance of an-
come on hand from the estate
The award to the young woman was
made yesterday by Judge Dallett in the
Orphan's Court, when the second ac-
count of the estate was adjudicated The
accounting shows the estate of Buist,
who died in December, 1910, to be
worth $166,000
The elopement of Miss De Janon with
Coben, who was a marned man, took
place in December, 1909. The girl was |
then only 16 years of age. Cohen was:
arrested charged with kidnapping, but
subsequently the bill of indictment
agaicst him was submitted and a verdict
of not guilty recorded. The girl, after
remaining mn seclusion in the West for
some time, was married to Glaser
