Using Transmission Electron Microscope (TEM) size of the liposomes

prepared was studied. Liposomes were found to be of various sizes,

ranging from 10nm to 200nm.The drug encapsulation studies
demonstrated that the drug encapsulation efficiency of PEG liposomes
was higher than the conventional liposomes. Drug encapsulation
efficiency of the liposomes and PEG-liposomes was found to be and
respectively. The in- vitro release of the drug was studied using dialysis
bag method and the used release system was PBS (pH 7.4) at 37 C.
The concentration of drug released was studied using UV Vis
Spectrophotometer at 295.7 nm.
