BBFC Certification

BBFC stands for the British Board Of Film Classification. As a

group we have decided to give our film the certification of 15.
We came to this decision because young teenagers of this age
are more likely to handle certain aspects of our film, such as the
sexual content and violence/abuse. These are one of the few
things that come with the certification process. If you are not 15
or over, you are not able to watch this drama.
Looking at the BBFC certification 15, it is clear that the film would provide content
that no individual below the age of 15 can view. This is due to things such as;

Violence and/or abuse (e.g. sexual, gang related guns/other weapons)

Strong Language (swearing e.g. F*** etc.)
Exposure of pure and obvious sexual activity
History of true/horrific stories
Strong referenced scenes
Our film Temptation consists of aspects that will leave the audience feeling anxious
and possible slightly uncomfortable, so as a group we had to carefully evaluate
whether individuals below the age of 15 would be allowed to view our film. This is
because individuals under the age of 15 are less likely to understand and handle the
surroundings, where as an individual that is aged 15/16 or over, will have a better
understanding of the concept without any worries or concerns, therefore being able
to enjoy it.
Although our film does not contain any interference with weapons or gangs, it
contains a concept of abuse and a forced action involving sexual activity, which an
individual under the age of 15, might not be able to cope with unless a parent or
guardian being with them. Due to all of these precautions, we have chosen the
certification 15 to be on the safer side and consider individuals of younger ages.
