I am writing this letter with regard to Kathryn Bizzell. I have worked with Katey at
Batchelor Middle School for 2 years and upon first meeting her I was immediately
impressed with her dedication and concern for all students. She continues to be very
committed to getting to know students personally and to understanding their unique
needs/concerns, especially the special education students. Kateys patience, humor,
leadership, and unerring compassion toward students and staff make her an invaluable
asset to our school.
From her first year at Batchelor, Katey emerged as a positive leader within our staff and
the language arts department and has continued to step forward and take on numerous
responsibilities as well as several extra-curricular roles within our building. Katey connects
with all types of students and has developed excellent classroom management skills while
here at Batchelor. She is a team player and always willing to go that extra mile for students
and co-workers. She has outstanding interpersonal skills which have allowed her to handle
many unpleasant situations that have ended positively. She is highly respected by students
and staff and very well liked.
Based on her work ethic and commitment to excellence, I would highly recommend
Katey for a teaching position and feel that you would be very lucky to have her.
