Good Evening, so our group case was called Your Uncle wants you!
Slide 2:
Just to give you a little background about the case; the US army who was on its
second straight quarter, has failed to meet its recruitment quota.
Based from Historical data, there are lower percentages of volunteer and minimal
participation. Youth is skeptical about the need for civil service.
Slide 3
As for the recruiters, a recent job survey has indicated that a large portion of the
recruiters were unhappy with their position.
Slide 4
There are 3 primary reasons:
1st: This would be the case especially when they do not like nor interested on the
assigned job,
2nd : Some soldiers are contesting that they are enlisted for being a soldier rather
than recruiter.
One recruiter mentioned that he is a soldier rather than a salesman, if he knew that
he would be assigned on this position, he wouldnt bother signing up/enlist himself.
3rd: In military we all know what their superiors care were numbers, they dont care
how you do it what they need is to produce the number of recruits. During that
time, there is a negative press about the issue of sexual harassment which makes it
harder for them to recruit applicants.

Women: Culture problem in field of Army , they see female as hindrance rather than
support to their activity level especially in front line battle
As mentioned earlier, As generation goes by, youth perspective to join in the army
changes

Compared during Vietnam or gulf war let say the Japanese American actively
enlist themselves to military, but rather new generation equipped themselves or are
more inclined to education.
Includes Abuse of power, corruption or sexual harassment.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------Slide 9:
The following are the available courses of action aimed to meet the recruitment quota:
Focus by increasing the benefits of job recruiters and applicants through bonuses and incentive
programs.
Cons:

1.) The question is the sustainability of how long the applicant would last.
Slide 13 Implementation Plan
1.) This can be done by creating a team to investigate the anomalies inside
the camp.
2.) Reason includes bringing back the passion he likes to do
3.) Rather than leaving the recruiters to do their own job, guidance from
superiors can significantly impact the number of applicants.
4.) Discussed earlier , orientation coming from veterans can be the key as
inspiration to youth ,
