Whistler Manual

Welcome to Whistler, the human whistle library. This is a small but powerful library with real
whistling samples (no synth sound) to create your own melodies.
IMPORTANT NOTES ABOUT THE SAMPLE PLAYER:
In order to run this library you will need the full Kontakt 3.5 version or higher. No Kontakt
Player included. The free Kontakt player DOESNT run this library.
1.- MAIN PAGE:

Volume: Main volume controlled by any CC of your choice. Mod Wheel controls vibrato.
Speed: This is the speed of the samples. With this feature you can control the lenght of the
articulations. It is controlled by any CC of your choice.
Legato Time: This feature controls the legato time to adjust it at your taste. NOTE: Due to the time
machine 2 Kontakt feature, you may hear artifacts when legato goes from a low note to a high note
or when the time ms is low or high.
Key Switch only:
If KS only is selected, every articulation has its own key switch. Except for short vib and sustain.
There are 2 KS for all other short articulations: short only and short with sustain (overlay).
Key Switch + velocity:
If KS + velocity is selected, these pairs have the same effect: they select the corresponding short
articulation type but velocity is used to switch between short only and short with sustain.
Ghost Note:
You can activate the ghost note option to do a legato from a mute note via:

Key: Here you can choose the key to activate the ghost note
Velocity: In this way you will get the ghost note when the velocity value is lesser
than the velocity threshold, which you can adjust.

2.- LEGATO SETTINGS:

In this page you can adjust the legato settings for fast notes and slow notes.
Parameters:
Legato time, Decay Time and Offset
3.-MICRO TUNING:
