Atoms are the

smallest unit in the
organization of life.
All matter is made
of atoms- not just
living organisms.

Molecules are made

of a combination of
atoms.
One example of a
molecule is when two
Hydrogen atoms
bond with an oxygen
atom. This forms
H2O- also known as
Water.

Cells are the basic

unit of life.
All living organisms
contain cells.

Living Tissues are

formed when many
cells are grouped
together. For
example, your skin is
formed from skin
tissue.

Organs are formed

from living tissue.
Examples of organs in
the human body
include the brain,
stomach, lungs, and
liver.

Organs work together

to form organ
systems. Your
circulatory system
and respiratory
system are both
examples of organ
systems.

Organs work together

to create an
organism. Plants and
animals are both
considered
organisms.
