Career Program Guide

As an Aquatic Director it is my duty to provide quality programming for my community

in a safe and nurturing environment. It is my duty to the community to provide the all
with the opportunity to enjoy the water as well as learn invaluable life skills. Our staff is
on the forefront of innovative teaching methods and safety practices.
We intend to reach out to the community and provide programs that offer
opportunities to learn strategies that promote safety around the water. Our program will
not only build skills and confidence but lifelong relationships that are forged between the
community and our staff.
Our youth swim lesson programming provides weekly updates to parents and
guardians so that the lessons may run with minimal interruption and maximum
transparency. Our beginning lessons focus on fundamental skills that are measured and
evaluated by trained instructors. Beginning level classes start with floating skills,
learning proper kicking and breathing technique. Our most advanced swim class
consists, primarily, of teaching and introducing the swimmers to advanced bilateral
movement drills, time based swim sets and swim team etiquette.
The swim program used an elementary school framework in order to reach a
demographic of the community that does not posses swimming or pool safety skills. The
framework allows a larger opportunity for varied progression and individual success.
The elementary school framework also blends into other programs that offer complex
challenges for swimmers/athletes with a higher degree of skill.
