About Us
This is a collaboration with the
Alaska Native Tribal Health
Consortium (ANTHC) and the
Indian Health Services (IHS) to
reduce the rate of suicide in
Alaska Native youth.

United States was 12.57
suicides per 100,000 people
in 2013.
The rate of suicide in Alaska
was 23.4 suicides per
100,000 people in 2013.
The rate of suicide among
Alaska Native peoples was
35.1 per 100,000 people in
2007.
Alaska Native men aged 15
to 24 have the highest rate
of suicide among any
demographic in the country,
with an average of 141.6
suicides per 100,000 each
year between 2000 and
2009.
