SEES ASSIGNMENT RESULTS
What did you find with your PWB, PD and FAT before and after exercise?
Before: pwb = 3 + 3 + 5 + 3 = (14)/ PD = 6 + 5 + 5 + 5 = (21)/ fat= 4+ 5 + 3 + 3
= (15)
After: pwb= 5 + 5 + 6 + 6= (22)/ PD= 2 + 1 + 3 + 2= (8)/ FAT= 4 + 5 + 5 + 4=
(18)
First of all what do these thing even mean?
PWB is Positive Well Being
PD is Psychological Distress
FAT is Fatigue
In their study McAuley and Courneya found that standardly after exercise people
had Positive Well Being increase, Psychological Distress decrease and Fatigue
increase. Essentially what this tells us is that exercise should make us feel good!
Of course after exercise we are going to feel more fatigued if we are doing it
correctly, this shouldnt be a big surprise! Did your results match these?
Yes, The results were correct. And this study about feeling better after working out is
true every single time. Im a very active person and every time I workout, I feel
refreshed and just have a better attitude and feel more awake. Yes my body if more
tired, and most of the time Im a little sore but overall exercise brings a positive
effect to my life.
