position of Substitute Teacher.
I am working with Jennifer as her Fieldwork Supervisor for the University of LaVerne. I
have observed her teaching in a T-K classroom environment. Also, I have reviewed her well
prepared lesson plans and observed the skillful execution of those plans. Besides her
formal training, she has the ability to modify the lesson while teaching to meet the needs
of her students. This flexibility enhances the learning experience for her students.
She maintains classroom control both through her professional demeanor and effective
engagement with her students. Her positive relationships with students enables her to
teach an effective lesson. Additionally, she has developed a positive working relationship
with the classroom teacher and members of the school staff.
As a retired elementary and middle school Principal, I would not hesitate to hire her as a
Substitute Teacher.
