DLP/4.2 Part Three
1. The data used to monitor student at my school consist of the
following: Beginning Of Grade Testing (BOG) EVVAS, Bench mark
testing (MAP) Reading 3-D, Common Formative Testing, and End
Of Grade testing (EOG)
2. The processes and procedures that are in place to analyze
student data would include the weekly PLCs within the school
where teachers are asked to bring in Common Formative
Assessment and or the use of Benchmarks where teachers may
gain knowledge of specific standards which need more work and
common errors made by both teachers and or students.
3. Formative assessments are used to gain a better understanding
of what areas student may need more intensive work, and this
also affords teacher opportunities to identify acceleration of
students. Using formative assessments are essential in helping
teachers differentiate their instruction effectively.
4. Teachers may measure students accomplishments in a number
of ways, those may include formative assessments, task
oriented, and or project based. Rubrics are used in most task
oriented and performance based forms of measurement.
5. Teachers are expected to collaboratively plan weekly.
6. As the instructional leader the three-four goals that I would have
for my school regarding student learning includes the following:
Being more data driven, Motivating teachers and student culture,
building a team climate, creating an excitement for learning,
Increasing student learning throughout the curriculum. My top
priority would be to create a more data driven environment, and
this is because this involves having relationship with your
teachers and students. This is very strategic because it lends to
creating a tighter way in which one views instruction. This would
be communicated daily through our vision statement.
7. I will ensure to continue to keep before our teachers why they
are and how it is important to work together to achieve an
environment of life long learners.
