CHED Memorandum Order no.61mandates


that Schools of Architecture shall have an
active and organized program for on-the-job
and diversified training for its students
which shall include:
- assistance in organizing student employer
interviews;
- maintenance of a job-available card file with an
index of potential local employers; and if needed,
- assistance to employers, and
- fast transfer of students' academic transcripts to

SEC. 13 (c), Article III of RA 9266


requires that candidate for licensure examination in
architecture must have a specific record of at least (2)
years or equivalent of diversified architectural
experience duly certified by a registered/licensed
architect.

Examinees only, in order to qualify in taking the
Board Licensure Examination for Architects in the
Philippines.Repeaters need not to submit this
again.
What actually required is not the logbook, butthe
diversified work experienceof the Examinee for at
least2 years.
The Logbook in the other hand is the proof
document that details the trainings where
he/shewent thruduringthe job under the

SECTION 13.Qualifications of Applicant for
Examination.- Any person applying for
examination shall establish to the satisfaction
of the Board that:
(a) He/she is a Filipino citizen or a citizen of
a foreign country qualified to take the
examination as provided for in this Act;

(c) He/she is a holder of a degree of

conferred by a school accredited by the
Commission on Higher Education (CHED)
and in addition has a specific record of at
least two (2) years or equivalent of
diversified architectural experience duly
certified by a registered/licensed architect
(d) He/she has not been convicted of
