11. [met the Managing Director Mr Dorsamy at about 10.15 a.m. He told me that he wanted to give me an advice but this advice should be taken as a last chance and in case of refusal there will not be any chance to remedy the matter. He added that the issue is becoming more serious as it is going on the public place particularly through the voice of Mr Subron. This meeting lasted at least 45 minutes with Mr Dorsamy. 12. Before making the proposition in the form of an advice Mr Dorsamy made it clear, that he was the only boss on board for any decision to be taken and nobody will be able to challenge his decision 13. Mr Dorsamy made it clear however unlike contrary to his previous mindset it was no more his intention to sack me. 14, In the same meeting the Managing Director made an offer to me ,provided that I accept his condition. In a nutshell he told me that | would not lose my job but | would be demoted if during the Disciplinary Committee | stand up to say that I tender my apologies to the great surprise of my counsel . This information should be kept secret until the start of the Disciplinary Proceedings in order to take my counsel by surprise and ‘embarrassed him. 15. The Managing Director even went further to trace out once the Disciplinary Committee would be over what I should do. He even invited me to take a cooling off period in the Syndicate as President but not to resign for Mr Rama not to grow up in popularity. It was clearly an act of hypocrisy from his part. 16. At a certain stage he called Mr Dahari and he addressed the latter to the following effect that he has told me all the ins and outs of the case. He made it clear that the presence of Mr Dahari was to give a guarantee to the said offer and that this was not just a joke and that Mr Dahari was a witness to that effect. 17. At the last stage the Managing Director reiterated the proposed offer in the presence of Mr Dahari 18. At no point in time | have never accepted the deal of the Managing Director. 19. | am making this affidavit for my own sake, for the rights of parties to have a choice to appoint their own legal advisors and for the sake of integrity and image of Trade Union. 20. | have also handed a handwritten copy of this version of the facts in creole and for the sake of helping my instructing attorney to draff the affidavit. My instructing attomey has not only read my version but also interviewed me.
