Bradley County Industrial PARKS Designated as

AT&T Fiber Ready

Designation Reflects Presence of Fiber-Based, High-Speed Internet
CLEVELAND, TENN., MARCH 4, 2016 As part of AT&Ts* continuing efforts to drive economic
development and investment in Tennessee, AT&T, elected officials, and representatives from
the Bradley-Cleveland Industrial Development Board today announced that three industrial
parks in Bradley County have been designated as AT&T Fiber Ready, including the ClevelandBradley County Industrial Park, the Hiwassee Industrial Park, and the Tasso Road Industrial
Park.
In todays world, connectivity is vital to employers and businesses of every type.
The work that has been in done in Nashville and here at home to improve our workforce, open
the doors to investment, and strengthen our local economies has brought our state to a point
where we are among the leaders in attracting new jobs and investment in Tennessee, said
State Senator Mike Bell. I am excited to learn of this new tool that our economic development
leaders have in their tool belts to help emphasize the resources that our community brings to
the table when companies are looking for a place to call home.
The AT&T Fiber Ready designation helps economic development leaders more effectively
position their communities for site selection by emphasizing the availability of high-speed, fiberbased services.
Our elected officials in Nashville, and here at home, have Tennessee pointed in the right
direction, and as they continue to work to improve the business climate, other tools like the
AT&T Fiber Ready designation can help to put us at the top of the list when employers are
looking for a place to call home, said Ross Tarver, chairman of the Bradley-Cleveland Industrial
Development Board.
These three new AT&T Fiber Ready park designations are exciting and allow us to highlight this
fiber connectivity when we recruit businesses to Bradley County, said Doug Berry, vice
president of economic development for the Cleveland/Bradley Chamber of Commerce.
AT&T has been deploying high-speed, fiber-optic infrastructure across Tennessee for years, and
the AT&T Fiber Ready designation is a tool for economic development leaders to highlight the
assets available in their facilities.
AT&T has a long history of investment in Cleveland and Bradley County, and I am happy to
highlight these three industrial parks as examples of the many places across Tennessee where
AT&Ts fiber infrastructure is in place and ready to help local businesses drive job creation,
said Alan Hill, regional director of external and legislative affairs for AT&T in Tennessee. Each

and every day, our employees are turning our billions of dollars of investment into high-speed
Internet for consumers and businesses across Tennessee, and its exciting for us to have the
opportunity to provide yet another resource to our friends who are driving economic
development in the mid-state.
