    Kingshill House

    Location Presentation
    Why?
    - We decided to use Kingshill house as our
    location to play on the ‘symbloic’ convention.
    - Kingshill House adds so much to our music
    video. The initial view of the outside of the
    house, as well as the room that we used adds
    character and prestige. The house looks
    grand and because of the architecture (it’s a
    Grade II listed 18th century building).
    Influences
    The party scene takes place inside of
    the building, and I feel that the
    grand table with the bizarre party
    is similar to that of
    Alice In Wonderland,
    and the mad Hatters
    tea party.
    I also feel that the room that we used contrasts
    with the modern styled characters. A video
    that does the opposite to this (modern place,
    old fashioned costume) is that of Panic! At The
    Disco – Nine in the afternoon.
    Panic! At the Disco, use the same technique in
    their other video; The Green Gentleman.
