Day Book Entry 2/16/10- Thinking about portfolios

I am excited to start putting together my online portfolio. I like how it’s an electronic portfolio
because I won’t have to have all these papers lying around and trying to organize. I’ve never made or
worked on a website before so I am looking forward to this. I just hope I understand how to upload
papers. This only think I don’t really like about having an electronic portfolio is that I can’t really show
what advise people gave me during peer review because it written on my paper and not on the computer. I
am excited to start this and to learn about electronic portfolios.
After class- after playing about with weebly I think it’s going to be really fun putting together my
portfolio and making it fun and exciting. I got on there and could pretty much figure out how to work
things. I’m going to try the other website out next time to see if I like that one, but weebly was really fun
and I’m excited to play around with the different things on weebly. I really like how you can really make
your portfolio unique and make it you.

Reflection on entry- I chose this entry because it was the beginning of the portfolio process back in
February. I was really excited to start and I am still excited to be working on my portfolio. It is really fun
to play around like I said in my entry and I like all this different things you can add to each page. As a
writer, it was good for me to have concerns about not being about to put in peer reviews because that
helps my writing. I was able to include reviews for Dr. Jan, which is good and helped me show how much
I had changed my papers.
