Through the years it has been an honor to watch Michael mature from a freshman to a senior. Not only has he grown intellectually, but socially — developing into a young man of the greatest integrity and character. Michael is an outstanding student who works hard to do all he can to maintain a high GPA that to him does not just represent a grade, but a deep desire to completely understand and apply his learning. Asa student he is on-task, engaged in the learning process, and uses effective strategies to understand complex and new material Besides being extremely active in his academics Michael fully engages in extra-curricular activities. He has played competitive sports on school teams and at the club level. He has also been involved in several long-term service projects. For an example, for the past two years Michael has coached 3° and 4 grade girls in recreational basketball. This requires about a two-three hour commitment each week. He also is currently working with elementary students with reading and homework, committing to three-four hours each week during his senior year of high school. Michael has dreams for the future. He plans to pursue a business major and work in an investment firm or even starting a business of his own. He loves to travel, meet new people, and experience different cultures.
