Analysis and
Interpretation of Data

Analysis and Interpretation of Data

Data analysis is a process for obtaining raw data and converting it

into information useful for decision-making by users. Data is
collected and analyzed to answer questions, test hypotheses or
disprove theories. The analysis of focus group data presents both
challenges and opportunities when compared to other types of
qualitative data. Data should be analyzed in the same manner as
interview data; the unique features of focus group data particularly

the

opportunity

that

it

provides

to

observe

interactions between group members - means that distinctive

form of analysis should be used. Data analysis will be taken place
at the level of the individual or the group.
The investigator has framed the following objectives for this
present investigation:
1 To explain the scope of computers for use in enhancement of
learning of learners.
2 To study the importance of computers in enhancement of
learning of learners.
3 To find out use of computers in enhancement of learning of
learners.
4 To present suggestions for effective use of computers in
enhancement of learning of learners.
These are few steps listed below in order to analyze and
interpret the collected data from students of 9 th class from
DOON PUBLIC SCHOOL, New Delhi.

Data collection
Data has been collected from a variety of learners from this class.
There are 60 students in this class divided in two sections i.e. A

and B. The data is collected from learners in class. It is obtained

through a questionnaire sheet distributed to them and duly filled
and signed by these students of class 9 th of DOON PUBLIC
SCHOOL, Paschim Vihar, New Delhi.

Data processing
Data initially obtained from students has been processed and
organized for analysis. For instance, these data involved are
placed into rows and columns in a table format for further
analysis, i.e. within a spreadsheet.
