Activity Description: Can O Your Town + Reflection
Specific Artifact Produced: Stardust kind of theme of Las Vegas of a can.
What you accomplished: I accomplished making a label for a can of soup but in a
creative method. I accomplished making an ingredient sheet of Las Vegas on the
computer.
What you learned: I learned how to make a label for a can on my computer. Also I
learned making the bar code by hand on a computer is pretty difficult than I thought. I
thought making the bar code on the computer is going to be easier than I thought. But it
wasnt I had to make a new line every time, make a line thicker than another, concrete on
not making the lines longer than its neighbor. Making the ingredient chart I had difficult
moment as well. To get the percentages match up on a right order and create the chart by
hand or mouse.
National Education Technology Standards for Students (NETS-S) Addressed. I can
relate to number one on Creativity and Innovative.
Application of Skills Learned in the Future: I learned while doing this project for the
future is an excellent project to do with family and friends. I learned while doing the
project is made me appreciate my hometown, which is Las Vegas. It made me appreciate
all the activities there is to do during day time and night time.
