No Matter What It Takes
Living up to my familys expectations was all I was ever taught to do; now its my turn to
do something for myself. This is what Killua thought when he saw his best friend severely
injured at the hospital. No doctor has ever seen a condition like the one Gon was in; there was no
cure for his condition everyone one of them concluded. Without any options left Killua is
obligated to return home to seek help from his little sister Alluka. This time its my turn to save
you, I promise said Killua as he walked out of the room. Getting Alluka out of the house was
going to be a difficult task since she was under confinement due to her dangerous power, but no
matter the cost he needed her help.
After two long days he finally reached Kukuro Mountain. As he opened the gates of trial,
he saw a big boulder in the entrance which turned out to be Mikes leg; he ran to greet him and
sat by Killuas side. Killua patted him and started walking towards the mansion at the top of the
mountain. He went past the forest and arrived at the mansion where his mother welcomed him
back asking if he returned to complete his familys wishes. Killua ignored her and said that he
was going to see Alluka, that moment she snapped and grab him without a second thought. No
one was allowed to see Alluka since she was too dangerous for the world to handle. As he broke
free, he kept walking and said Shes my sister; I have every right to see her. As he went by he
was called to his fathers room; at the end of a dark corridor the door slightly opened, as his
father waited at the end for his arrival.
Upon entering the room he sat at his fathers lap, curios about his plans he asked him
What do you want with Alluka? Killua told him about his friends condition, stating that the

only way to save him was with Allukas powers. Knowing the importance and love towards his
friend his dad proposed a deal If you can show me you can control Alluka, you can take her
with you. Killuas face showed a bright smile, he accepted the terms and went towards Alluka.
In a big steel room in the basement of the house Alluka was being kept, when Killua opened the
door she jumped towards him. Alluka seems like a cute little girl but she actually has two
personalities; Alluka and Nanika. As the family watched how they acted they closed and sealed
the room trapping them inside. Killua asked Alluka to talk to Nanika since he needed her help to
save Gon; Nanikas power could grant any wish but with a request in return, if the request was
not met someone on earth would pay with his life. Killua only asking for easy wishes tried to
convince his family nothing wrong would happen if they left the house; as the family watched
they demanded to know his secret. If he didnt told them, they will never let them leave the
room; Killua refusing their requested, wished for Nanika to transport them to were his mother
and brother were. Severely injuring his mother and brother he took Alluka and ran away. As they
started to leave the mansion, his mother ordered two butlers to followed them and watch every
single move they made, as Killua succeeded in getting Alluka; he started going back to Gon.
Killua annoyed by the butlers following him, asked them to leave him alone, as they
declined they went and got them a car for fast travelling. Hours after they left, they finally
reached the forest that connected the two regions. When they heard a big sound, their reaction
was to jump out of the car. The car exploded and there was no trace of it left, they fell down a
cliff leading them into the forest. For a better surprise they find themselves with the one
responsible of the explosion. Illumi, the older brother of the family wanted Killua to hand over
Alluka, stating that she is too dangerous to be outside, that the only way for it to be peace was to
kill her even if it meant going against the familys decisions. Filled with anger he refuses to give

Alluka since she also has the right to be part of the world and doesnt need to be confined by the
family. Illumi wanting to get rid of Alluka made his move to attack, when suddenly the butlers
interfered; Illumi got angry and killed all the butlers. Killua taking advantage of the situation
decides to use his Godspeed technique to get as far away from them as possible. When he was
able to reach the town, he started searching for a way to reach the hospital unnoticed; with his
familys influence he was able to set 3 blimps to fly towards the hospital to confuse Illumi. As
they ran towards the hospital, Illumi chased and destroyed one blimp after the other until there
was no trace of them.
Killua finally reached the hospital were Gon was being kept, as he entered the room his
face saddens. He reached out to Gons hand and let loose the bandages around it, his eyes were
filled with tears as he saw his friends condition. He started thinking about how he couldve let
him do something so stupid; Killua called out to Nanika and begged her to please cure his friend,
that no matter the cost he would even pay with his life. He kneeled on the floor and started
crying, the room started shining and Gons hand started healing. After the process was over
Alluka requested Killua to pat her head as she went to sleep; while they waited outside the
hospital room Illumi arrived. He congratulates him for achieving his goal and saving his friends
but now was the time for him to give up Alluka. Killua stated that from now on he would protect
Alluka with his life even if it meant being the enemy of the family. As Illumi approached to
attack them, Killua wished for Illumi to go far away and to never set foot near them ever again or
else he wouldnt hesitate to kill him next time. Two days later Gon was finally awake, without
knowing a thing about what happened, he continued his normal life. Killua full with enthusiasm
cried and hugged Gon. He introduced Alluka to him and said that she will be traveling together
with them from now on since he promised to protect and make her stronger.
