The Little Mermaid- Sand Art Animation Narration

Once upon a time, deep, deep down in the emerald green sea, where there are
colorful fish, crabs, and shrimps, there was a castle. In the castle lived the sea king
and his six beautiful mermaid daughters. Each princess was stunningly beautiful
(clumsy repetition of beautiful. Replace second one with a synonym?) but the
youngest daughter, the little mermaid, was the loveliest of all. Her long hair was like
the waves of the ocean, her face bright as the light of the sun, and her voice was as
sweet as honey. (could her characteristics all be ocean-related? Ie voice as soft as the
song of the dolphins etc).
However, there was one thing that the little mermaid couldnt do, which was
going up to (to go up to) see the surface of the sea. She was still young and had to
wait until she was 15 years old. Every time one of her sisters would go and see the
surface of the sea, the little mermaid would love to hear the story of strange flying
creatures with wings, children playing near the sea, and big islands with palm trees.
The little mermaid, waited, and waited, and waited for her chance to go up to the
surface and see these marvelous things with her own eyes.
At last, as soon as the little mermaid turned 15, she paddled her tail as quickly
as possible and reached the surface of the sea. It was midnight on the land and she
was in aw (awe), staring at the bright full moon shining down at her and millions of
twinkling stars dancing in the night sky. The little mermaid was too caught up
(absorbed by? enraptured by?) in the skys beauty that she didnt see a ship come
by her. When she noticed, the ship was very close to her.
How wonderful, the little mermaid thought as she glanced inside the boats
(boats) window, That must be the kings (kings) party.
In the midst of the dancing and laughing humans one particular human
(person?) caught her eye. It was the prince. He was the most beautiful being she had
ever seen. His nose was as sharp as a swords (swords) blade and his hair was as
smooth as a horses mane. The little mermaid didnt know how much time had passed
as she was too mesmerized by this beautiful (handsome?) prince. Finally, she decided
that too much time had passed and that she should head back.
I should get back now, the little mermaid thought, finally turning her back to
the prince.
Just then, suddenly (these sort of mean the same thing. Is the phrase Just then
necessary?) the night sky darkened and, clouds covered up the moon, and it started to
rain. The sea started to churn, violently shaking the ship the beautiful prince was on
and flipped it over. In order to save the prince, the little mermaid dived in to the
waters, grasped his hand and carried him up to the shore.
Are you alright sir? the little mermaid spoke. (space after this line?)
The man was still unconscious. Suddenly, she heard the tapping of feet coming
by the shore. The little mermaid hurried herself over to the sea and hid in the water,
peaking over to see who it was. She saw a human girl running to the prince. Now that
the little mermaid knew that the beautiful prince was safe, she headed back to the sea.

As days passed the little mermaid couldnt help but think, If I had legs instead
of a tail, I could have talked to him.
One day, she finally decided to visit the sea witch in her cave and ask her if
there was anyway she could see the prince again.
Hello, is anyone there? the little mermaid cried out.
Oh princess, cackled the sea witch. I was expecting you. Ive heard you
wish to become human and get rid of your tail (in order) to meet your beloved prince.
I have a potion, which can do exactly that. However, remember if you do not get
married to your love, you will disappear in to (dissolve into?) sea foam.
Thank you, sea witch replied the little mermaid.
Also, there is one thing that you will have to pay me.
What is it?
Your voice. I want your beautiful voice for payment. hissed the sea witch.
If thats what it takes to visit my love, I will give you just that.
Pleasure doing business with you, princess, the witch screeched.
The next morning, as soon as the sun rose, the little mermaid swam her way
up to the surface of the sea and drank the potion. Sure enough she was transformed in
to a human with two legs. Suddenly, she heard footsteps from far away coming
towards her. Sure enough (repetition of Sure enough) standing before the little
mermaid was the beautiful prince she had seen on her 15th birthday. The prince
ordered his servants to dress her and took the little mermaid back to his castle.
Everyday from then on she would have long walks with the prince. Even
though she could not speak, he enjoyed her company. However, the little mermaid
knew that she was not his true love, as he loved the human girl he though had saved
him. He would often tell her that he was determined to get married to that other girl.
The little mermaid wanted to tell the prince that she had actually saved him but,
because she had no voice; (,) all she could do was cry.
When the day of the wedding came, the little mermaid realized that she didnt
have enough time to live as like (because, as ) the sea witch told her; she would
turn in to sea foam if the prince got married to another woman. At that (On the) night
after the wedding, the little mermaid sat by the shore weeping. Suddenly, she noticed
five figures swimming up to her; they were her sisters.
Little sister, the sisters started. There is still a chance for you to live. Here,
take this knife and stab the prince. If you let his blood fall to your feet you will turn
back to a mermaid.
Determined to stab the prince, the little mermaid took the knife from her
sisters and crept up upon the sleeping prince. However, no mater how hard she tried to
stab the prince, she couldnt, as he loved him dearly. Alas, the little mermaid couldnt
take it any longer and plunged (threw? Hurled?) the knife out of the window.
As the morning sun came up, the little mermaid turned in to sea foam and
disappeared, never to be found again. At times, when the prince looked out the

window staring (to stare) at the sea, he could almost make out the little mermaids
(mermaids) face, smiling at him.
