    Dr.IanWilmut,aScottishscientist,announcedtotheworldthat
    hehadcreatedherusingaprocedurecalledcloning.Cloningisa
    methodthatscientistsusetoproduceageneticcopyofanother
    individual.Inotherwords,Dollywasacloneofhermother.

    Well,actually,Dollyhadthreemothers.OnemothergaveDolly
    herDNA,onemothersuppliedanegg,andthethirdmother,her
    surrogatemother,gavebirthtoher.

    Normally,ananimalgetshalfofitsDNAfromitsmotherandhalffromitsfather.Dollywasan
