We can conclude from this assignment that both Taiwan and South Korea have similar
history and background. Both country however do not have diplomatic ties. This is the result of
South Koreas recognition of Peoples Republic of China, which made the relationship with
Taiwan sour.
The economy is also not going as good for Taiwan as it is for South Korea. South Koreas
GDP is much higher than that of Taiwan, but its Purchasing Power Parity is lower than that of
Taiwan. Regardless, both countries are still doing very well on the international level in terms of
the economy.
