BICYCLE BRAKES:
THE MOST BASIC TYPE OF BRAKES.

DRUM BRAKES:

Two semicircular brake shoes sit inside a spinning


drum which is attached to the wheel. On applying
the brakes, the shoes are expanded outwards to
press against the inside of the drum.
