Trustees for new RCN Foundation

An independent charity supporting nursing to improve


the health and well-being of the public
The new RCN Foundation, an independent charity set up by the
Royal College of Nursing, will be dedicated to supporting nursing
and health care professionals to improve the quality of nursing care.
We are currently looking for a team of people with a wide range
of skills from different backgrounds to complete our new board.
You will be a leader in your chosen field and will share our passion
for improving nursing and health care. We particularly welcome
applications from people with a background in finance and fundraising,
and experience of setting up a new charity.
Appointments will be made for two years from 1 July 2010. In addition
to attending six Board meetings a year, you will be expected to join
one of two sub-committees overseeing the RCN Benevolent Fund and
Educational Bursaries
The posts are voluntary but expenses will be paid.
