BEGINNING

After the large group, children of 4 would come to the carpet, I will introduce the colours and
movement game with the connectors to them and also explain the rules of the game.
MIDDLE

Materials: Children will be using different colour connectors.


Choice: They will have choice to jump left, right or straight on the colour of the connector.
Manipulation: They would be able to have body awareness and also develop gross motor skills
like balance and coordination.
Language: Children will understand and follow oral directions.
Adult Scaffolding: I will guide them and also increase the distance gradually so that they can try to
achieve the distance and not lose their interest.
END/TRANSITION

When all the children finish playing the game, I would ask them to go and work in other areas of
the classroom.
