Second Day

As fresh as a cucumber, we started our second day early for our visit to Aghane Deorai. It
was picturesque all along. After reaching Aghane, we saw water supply points like well and
reservoir. I noticed that men in this village equally contribute in fetching water along with
women folks.
We also visited Aghane tribal school. After having yummy breakfast (poha), we interacted
with the school teacher and students. Students from each class performed lovely dance and
song in Marathi and English. They also shared, what they want to be, when they grow up. I
personally had nice time teaching them little bit of origami.
Finally we went to Manchar (Shashwat karyalaya) and had interactive session; Mr. Anand
Kapoor shared how IIT B, CTARA has been helping them in planning and other activities to
do their bit of help. He hoped to have more participation from CTARA.
Some interesting practices and facts came up during presentations, conversations and
interactions with various people during our visit. I have listed some of them here.
