The VASA

Tragedy
Do you know about
the VASA Tragedy,
Dy?

No, I dont have any

idea about that. Can
you tell me?

Really?

whom Admiral
Fleming contracted
to in order to
materialize the ship.

Yeah. It was obvious

that King Gustav has
so many innovations
to enhance and
customize the ship
in a short period of
time. Imagine, for 2
years!
Yeah, that sounds so
pathetic for him. I
think he didnt take
a management
subject yet. But,
what is really that
something that
made it sank?

intended it to carry maximum armament
without regard for factors such as stability,
stiffness, and sailing characteristics. And the
result- BANG! Not sea worthy.

Oh no! Thats triviality. They should

plan what they have to do before they
will execute it. Like, considering the
factors that affects its seaworthiness.
For example:
1. They should have technical Plan
2. They should document the plan
3. They should follow a systematic
approach in managing the project
making
4. They should communicate what is
indented to be known. The fact it
didnt pass the stability test.
5. They shouldnt sail the SHIP. So
sad
You know why they werent able to
communicate the said result? (that the ship
failed in stability test?)

Because King Gustav pressured them to

launch the ship as soon as possible. The fact
that the King of Poland conducting a war
campaign, and no one could ever tell them to
make the ship more stable. Thats why they
launched it in vain.

Exactly Dy. I know theyve failed to do such

things. I know, Henrik failed to document his
plans. Thats why after he got ill and died, his
assistant, Hein Jacobsson was unable to
handle the management of the unfinished
project that led to a chaotic and destructive
phenomenon.

No, I dont. Can you tell me?

Oh Gosh! They shouldnt do that! I know that

30-50 people died including children and
mothers! Oh fudge!

And whats even more worst? After 3 years,

the ship sank just minutes and a mile?

What? Oh F** I wish that tragedy will not

happen again and I hope modern people learn
from this.
