Implications

No Outcome Data
at this time.

This was the first

time student
services (the
school counselors
and school
psychologist) did
a lesson like this
for third grade. In
the future,
alterations should
be made. The pretest was effective
at identifying
potential students
for small groups,
but was not very
useful for
comparison to the
post-test.

No Outcome Data
at this time.

The percentage of
students who
were able to
identify two
strategies to
relieve worry and
anxiety did
increase across
the pre- and psottests, but a larger
increase would be
desirable. In the
future, it could be
helpful to have a
third lesson and
focus heavily on
the four
techniques
discussed. It may
be helpful to
practice more with
the students.
Students who
could not name
techniques will be
considered for
small groups.
