The last few decades have been a time of international searching of the soul about
the environment. What are we doing to our planet? More and more we realize that
the Industrial Revolution has changed the relationship between humanity and the
environment forever. There is real concern that by the middle or the end of the 21 st
century human activities will change the basic conditions which made life on the
Earth.
