COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This intensive course is designed for students interested in pursuing acting roles through auditions on a college,
conservatory or community level; improving skills in voice and movement, advancing knowledge of classical
performance, and practicing audition pieces will all lead up to a student-centric play during the second 9 weeks of the
course.
Students will select, research, and perform classical and more advanced scenes and monologues in preparation for
professional auditions. Class will culminate in a student-centered production with all aspects of the show reflecting the
knowledge gained through this course.
Prerequisite: Theatre III or by faculty approval and audition (Please see Miss Armor or Mr. A. Magill)
