Service Cards involved in this cross connection are PO1, PH1, and PD1.

Service Cards involved in this cross connection are SL1, SL4, SD1, IF1A, and
IF1B.
Case 1.
Suppose there are 2 sites A and B. Configuration of both sites is 4 E1 (1+0) and we have to
make cross connection 1st E1
Solution.
Note The cross connection made on both side are similar and are as follows (add and
drop) and Services are transmitted between Site A to Site B.
Click NEW the create SDH service tab is displayed referring to the network design
set the parameters select the planned service level in the level drop down list
Select the PO1 board in slot3 in the source drop down list enters 1 in the source time
slot range field.
Select the IF board in the slot 4 in the sink drop down list adopt the default values
for sink port and sink vc4 enter 1 in the sink time slot range filed.
Site B
Click ok
You can check the attributes of the created service in the cross-connection
configuration tab.
Case 2
Note Services are transmitted between Site A to Site B and Site B to Site C. Cross-connection of
Site B (its a hub site so we have to make two cross connection one each for site A and Site
C.
