The document that I collected from the classroom was a series of reading comprehension strategies that students could use while reading. Each document describes a different strategy that students are able to refer to as they are reading to help them become better with comprehension.

Reflection: What are your thoughts/opinions about this document?
These are all strategies that I have also read and learned about in my READ 3226 class and I believe this is a great example of meeting the different needs of the students. Instead of only displaying one strategy that the teacher preferred, Mr. Jamison displayed many different strategies for the students. Therefore, students are allowed to use and refer to what works best for them and what they are reading. I also liked that Mr. Jamison displayed this information on the wall for the class to see instead of giving them a worksheet to refer to, because they may eventually misplace a sheet of paper. That way they know they can refer to these strategies at all times until they feel completely comfortable with them. I plan on displaying a similar strategy in the future in my own classroom to help my students with their reading comprehension.
