A. Kegiatan Pendahuluan
Apersepsi :

Tanya jawab tentang apa itu recaunt text, kapan digunakan dan
bagaimana cara untuk menulis recount text.
Motivasi :

Menjelaskan pentingnya materi yang akan dipelajari berikut kompetensi


yang harus dikuasi siswa
B. Kegiatan Inti
Eksplorasi
Dalam kegiatan eksplorasi, guru:
Melibatkan peserta didik mencari informasi yang luas dan dalam tentang topik/tema
materi yang akan dipelajari dengan menerapkan prinsip alam takambang jadi guru dan
belajar dari aneka sumber;
Meminta peserta didik untuk membuat recount text berdasarkan tema.
Menggunakan beragam pendekatan pembelajaran, media pembelajaran, dan sumber
belajar lain;
Memfasilitasi terjadinya interaksi antarpeserta didik serta antara peserta didik dengan
guru, lingkungan, dan sumber belajar lainnya;
Melibatkan peserta didik secara aktif dalam setiap kegiatan pembelajaran.

Elaborasi
Dalam kegiatan elaborasi, guru:
Membiasakan peserta didik membaca dan menulis yang beragam melalui tugas-tugas
tertentu yang bermakna;
Memfasilitasi peserta didik melalui pemberian tugas, diskusi, dan lain-lain untuk
memunculkan gagasan baru baik secara lisan maupun tertulis;
Memberi kesempatan untuk berpikir, menganalisis, menyelesaikan masalah, dan
bertindak tanpa rasa takut;
Memfasilitasi peserta didik dalam pembelajaran kooperatif dan kolaboratif;
Memfasilitasi peserta didik berkompetisi secara sehat untuk meningkatkan prestasi
belajar;
Memfasilitasi peserta didik membuat laporan eksplorasi yang dilakukan baik lisan
maupun tertulis, secara individual maupun kelompok;

Konfirmasi
Dalam kegiatan konfirmasi, guru:

Memberikan konfirmasi terhadap hasil eksplorasi dan elaborasi peserta didik melalui

didik yang menghadapi kesulitan, dengan menggunakan bahasa yang baku dan

Membantu menyelesaikan masalah;
Memberi acuan agar peserta didik dapat melakukan pengecekan hasil eksplorasi;
Memberi informasi untuk bereksplorasi lebih jauh;
Memberikan motivasi kepada peserta didik yang kurang atau belum berpartisipasi

Sunday the Terrible
Last week was a terrible day for me. My cousin and I were playing football
infront of the house to spend time with us.
First, it was really fun until I kicked the ball too strong, so the ball leaded me to
the window and broke the window. When we want to escape, all of a sudden we
all heard a loud voice. After that, the owner of the house came out of the fence, he
yelled at us. We are very afraid of her, but we do not know what to do. Then, one
of my cousins told us to run, we all ran, and suddenly we heard the sound of skin.
Then we know that homeowners allow dogs to chase us. And we were struggling
to run as fast as her as we can.
But, I fell down so the dog managed to capture me and bit my leg. It really hurts
me. Then the dog ran back into the house. My cousin took me to the doctor and
told my parents. In the end, the doctor said that I was exposed to rabies. Then I
was hospitalized for one week more.
That's a terrible day of the week for me, may not happen to me again in his next
week Sunday.

Pengertian recount text
A recount tells about something that happened in the past. The details in a recount can
include what happened, who was involved, where it took place, when it happened and
why it occurred. A writer or speaker uses a recount to tell us about a story or an event.
Recounts are usually given in the order that the event occurred. Recounts can be:

Factual, such as a news story

Procedural, such as telling someone how you built something

Personal, such as a family holiday or your opinion on a subject

Generic Structure of Recount


1. Orientation: The first paragraph that gives background information about who, what,
where, and when.
2. Sequence of events: The second (third-) paragraph that retells events in the order in
which they happened in the past
3. Reorientation: A concluding paragraph (Impression, suggestion, feeling)

When I was a kid, I used to play hide and seek with my friends. We used to
play in the yard behind my friends house. the yard was perfect place because
it was surrounded by dense banana trees.
We usually played until late at night. One day, when I was trying to hide

among the banana trees, I slipped and fell into the river. Even though I used to
swim in the river, but I never did it at night. In the dark everything looked
different. I could not think clearly, I felt something tickling my feet. My feet
were trapped in the mud, I could not move any longer.
Thank God, my friend finally came and helped me. Then, he called others
to save me out from the mud.

A recount text is a text that tells you a part of experience. A recount text has an orientation, a
series of events in chronological order, personal remarks on the events and a reorientation that
rounds off the sequence of events. In the text, you find words and phrases used to start, connect
a sentence with the next one, and end your composition. Those words and phrases are:
