Making a Protein Poem
When making a protein,
Youve got to transcribe the leading strand of DNA to RNA, you know what i mean?
This is the job of the RNA polymerase.
It copies the DNA opposite from 5 to 3 every day.
Exons are the RNA sequences found the the mRNA.
While introns are the RNA sequences between the exons, hey.
The mRNA goes to the cytoplasm through the nuclear pores.
Thats pretty cool; do you want to hear some more?
The tRNA translates the messages of the mRNA.
The order of the nucleotides in the anticodons signals a type of amino acid, ok?
The anticodons match the codons in the mRNA.
They both have 3 nucleotides; I do say.
The tRNA carries and bonds the amino acids.
It forms peptide bonds to be added,
To the polypeptide chain.
Look at all the knowledge youve gained.
The rRNA is the main ingredient in the ribosome
The A-site is where the tRNA brings the anticodon; it welcomes it like a home.
The P-site is occupied by the tRNA carrying the polypeptide chain.
The E-site is where the tRNA exits; this process is insane.
