Present the lesson and the project to the students. Pass out the Research
Worksheet.
After everyone has a worksheet, walk through the steps on the worksheet so
everyone understands what is being asked of them. The worksheet is straight
forward and has easy step-by-step directions on how to find and locate the
information and what to do with it once they locate it.
Have the students check out a laptop and access the internet (use google
chrome or firefox browser)
The students can start the assignment once they have the worksheet and
access the internet. They just have to follow the directions on the worksheet.
Teacher needs to walk around and help/guide the students through the
assignment and make sure they are on task.
Once the students make it through the worksheet, they need to print off their
quizzes. They can print them at the printer in the back of the room (printer
B117).
Students need to turn-in their worksheets and their quizzes at the conclusion
of the assignment.
They may work on any other homework for the remainder of class.
Assessment Plan:
The students will be assessed on the completion of the worksheet (24 pts),
completion of the quiz (15 pts), and participation and behavior (10 pts).
