Sir Henry McMahon's letter
In a letter to Sharif Hussein of Mecca dated 24 October
1915, Sir Henry McMahon explains the parts of Palestine
in which he will accept Arab self-government. Some
people say Hussein believed these regions included the
territory later claimed by Zionists.

Declaration, contained in a letter to the British Zionist
leader Lord Rothschild dated 2 November 1917. In some
