Course Description:
In the age of selfies and extensively photographed prevalence, editing and post
processing are invariable essentials. This course acquaints the students to the basics of
the popular image editing software - Adobe Photoshop, imparting them with quick and
easy techniques to transform photographs and graphics in a playful manner.

Course Objectives:

Introduction to Adobe Photoshop and its basic interface.


Developing the skills required to edit images for academics as well as recreational
purpose.
Offering a platform to the students, to creatively discuss and express their opinions
through graphical transformations by appreciating and using graphics which
represent a varietyof ages, places and cultures.

Methods Adopted:

Documentaries and Films, discussing the evolution of Image editing soft wares and
their significance today
Interactive Tutorials
Group work to inculcate team spirit and leadership abilities.

Note Making: Habitual referencing of updates and information, into a systematic


notebook for ones own understanding.

Learning Outcomes:
This experimental light-hearted course, towards its completion would develop these few
abilities and skills.

Understanding of colours, graphics and composition.


An eye for photography and corrective attitude.
Skills to tweak and transform images, in a playful manner.
