With the USTA well-trained coaches, student learn to play tennis, get moving, and have fun. The program promotes life skills,
healthy lifestyles, and teaches students how to serve, rally, and score through a specifically designed curriculum. We will have
two instructors to allow splitting the class by skill level ensuring beginner and intermediate players will be challenged. Size

Become a cast member of the musical Sound of Music while rehearsing with the Sing Out Seattle artistic staff. The 6 week
session ends with a fully staged public performance Wednesday, May 11 at 6:30pm and a school assembly on May 12 at

The Spring session for Robots will be limited to Robotic Engineers in the fourth, fifth, and/or sixth grade AND each Robotic
Engineer has to have competed in a VEX IQ competition this year. Our spring session will meet TWO times a week (Tuesday and
Friday) in preparation for the new course challenge. The tuition increase will help us buy longer axels, more motors, etc.

These skills are designed to empower our children to respect, advocate, empathize, mentor, cope with emotions, decision
making, problem solving that will be utilized for their whole life. Each class will begin with snacks and time to practice
introductions and table skills. Miss Patricia has over 50 lesson plans with time and money management, gift giving and receiving,
how to enter group conversations, thinking before we speak, first aid, and assertiveness among many others. More information

Stage Struck's Glee Struck is back! Our version of the hit show Glee features young people your age who are getting ready for a
big dance competition. Stage Struck will write a short script for the cast and students will be dancing to some of this year's big hits
from the likes of Taylor Swift, John Legend, Demi Lavato, and Macklemore. There will also be a song tribute to Bowie and Earth,
Wind and Fire. Experienced director choreographers, Allison Standley and Maxie Jamal, will lead the students through hip hop
and lyrical movement. Students will be grouped by age for some numbers and full cast for others. Cast members must be able to
work in a focused, collaborative way to contribute to a successful production. The 8 weeks of preparation will culminate in an
evening performance and a school assembly. Slated performance dates: June 6 morning assembly and June 9 at 6:30pm in the

Piano Keyboard Club

Kids will have the opportunity to learn to play their favorite songs and music on electric keyboards. Radio hits, movie and
television themes are made so easy, that participants will be playing them after the very first class! The club is a combination of
keyboard piano lessons and a music learning workshop, which uses a clever visual method to teach the basics of music reading
and piano playing. We've developed lots of learning games and activities designed to teach kids basic music reading skills and
playing techniques, in ways that are fun and engaging. We want our students to stay motivated and continue to want to learn to
play music, whether they like Macklemore or Beethoven. Each participant has his/her own keyboard supplied during the class, as

Join Mr. Cheever for this introduction to ukulele. No previous experience necessary. Instruments and the method book will be
provided for class use. The method book is part of the national curriculum that Canada uses in their elementary schools.
Students will be introduced to melodies and chord patterns.

Kids' Carpentry is a hands-on toy building class designed to teach girls and boys, practical woodworking skills with an emphasis on
the safe use of hand tools. While kids construct fun and exciting projects they are also empowered to become independent
thinkers - building confidence, self-esteem, and a repertoire of practical skills that will last them a lifetime.
Grades 2-6
Kids get the chance to be active and jam out to their favorite music. Zumba Kids classes feature kid-friendly routines based on
original Zumba choreography. We break down the steps, add games, activities and cultural exploration elements into the class
structure. These classes help develop a healthy lifestyle and incorporate fitness as a natural part of children's lives by making
fitness fun. Classes incorporate key childhood development elements like leadership, respect, team work, confidence, selfesteem, memory, creativity, coordination, cultural awareness.

Fashion Club: T-Shirt Transformation
Grades 1-6

Designers will put their creativity to the test as they take on the challenge of turning the iconic T-shirt into an exciting one-of-a
kind garment. Each designer will select 3 different T-shirts which they will deconstruct and the reconstruct in to a new design
that reflects their personal style. Designers will also receive instruction on an array of hand-sewing, embellishment and cutting
techniques to help them achieve their transformation. In addition, designers will be given a fashion sketchbook to develop their
design ideas and participate in a variety of weekly fashion activities. Please contact instructor, Miss Reese at:

All students must be walked into morning programs and be signed in, unless they walk independently to school. If for some reason
there is no class, students that walk independently must walk back home.
If your child will miss class, please let the enrichment coordinator know in advance by email, phone or text.
For all afternoon classes, children will gather in the courtyard near the gym where attendance will be taken. If a child who is not
absent from school or released prior to the end of school is not at the meeting point, the STEM office, their parent(s) and emergency
contact will be notified by phone.
Students must be picked up promptly when class ends. If there is a problem with pickup, please be in contact with the parent
volunteer by phone or arrange to have another parent pick up your child. Parents that are chronically late may be unable to continue
participating in the current session and may be unable to register for classes in the future.
Students are expected to be respectful and act appropriately during Enrichment Programs. Failure to do so may result in inability for
student to continue in the Enrichment Program. Instructors will determine if a student should continue if behavior is disruptive or
inhibits others experience.
A class may be completely cancelled if the minimum number of students is not reached.
Classes/Clubs are chosen for the needs of community. New classes and clubs are always sought and can apply to the Enrichment
Program for review.
Cancellation Policy: If you cancel registration 48 hours before the session begins, you may receive a full refund. If you cancel within the
48 hours, or during the session, we wont guarantee a refund.
