Path Manager, as simple Network

Manager for SDH/PDH and WiMAX
neworks;

Siemens offering for Network Management

of microwave networks is represented by
the products portfolio belonging to the
so-called NetViewer NME Suite.

SPOTS - NetViewer Connector, a suitable

interface (based on OSS/J) that allows
SPOTS to manage MW Performance
Measurements (ITU-T and ETSI) and
relevant post-processing; SPOTS is
a Siemens product;

TNMS Core Radio add-on (also known as

TNMS Core R), a customized northbound
interface (based on TMF CORBA) that
allows the integration of NetViewer in
TNMS Core, the Network Manager for
Transport Networks able to manage
DWDMs, optical NEs, ADMs and microwave
equipment;

Such a suite is composed of a number of

modules:
NetViewer, core of the system, as Element
Manager;

PMT (Pro-active Maintenance Toolkit),

a specific application to post-process MW
Performance Measurements (ITU-T and
ETSI) collected by NetViewer and calculate
a number of KPIs;

Radio Commander - NetViewer

Connector, a set of products (a customized
northbound interface, a tool to describe
network topology, and a suitable GUI Client
for Solaris) that allows the integration
of NetViewer in Radio Commander,
the Element Manager for Radio Access
Networks such GERAN and UTRAN
(Siemens product);

SNMP Agent, a real-time northbound

interface implementing the TCP/IP standard
de facto for simple and fast integrations
(e.g. toward HP TeMIP together with
suitable AM/FM kit or Micromuse Netcool
via suitable Probe);
TCOA (TMF CORBA Agent), a real-time
northbound interface implementing the
TMF standard information model;

ODB (Open Database), a suitable interface

(based on SQL) that supports the off-line
integration in third parties' managers and
databases.
