    RAFT Assignment

    Grade Level: 8th Grade


    Standard: CCSS.MATH.CONTENT.8.F.A.3
    Interpret the equation y = mx + b as defining a linear function, whose graph is a straight
    line.
    Raft Directions: Choose one of the three topics below, and create a writing piece using the
    RAFT format. Be creative and utilize the resources below to ensure your writing is
    accurate and informational. Your piece should be at least one page in length, and make sure
    to use proper grammar.
    RAFT Format:
