which was also assessed by his gingival health. By his reevaluation appointment his gingival architecture was generalized scalloped. On tooth #4 and #5 his gingival architecture was localized flat. His gingiva color was localized red maxillary arch. The consistency was generalized edematous/spongy on the maxillary arch. The papilla of the gingiva was bulbous on the maxillary facials. The mandibular arch had consistency, margins, and papillae all WNL. On the maxillary arch his margins were still rolled but I did notice there was less bleeding. I understand that the healing process will take awhile but I was happy to see improvements and I praised the patient for keeping his up with his at home oral care. 1 Patient Attitudes and Cooperation: as an excellent patient now only did he show interest in learning by asking questions and being attentive, but he also took techniques shown in formal education and incorporated them in his at home care. He was very reliable and making all of his appointments and understood that this process takes longer than usual.
