How To Acquire
A Career As A Commercial Piolet
Career Requirements
Key Skills: Communication, excellent vision, physical health and
aeronautical knowledge.

Licencing and Certification: Must pass the F.A.A. practice test and
must have a minimum of 250 hours of flying time logged for licencing.

Experience: Must be 23 years of age or older and have a


minimum of 1500 flight hours logged.
Degree Level: Bachelor's degree or college experience may be
required.

Steps
1) Meeting the requirements
-Being physically and mentally healthy.
-Meet the age requirements.
-Have a financial plan.
-Completing the schooling that is necessary.

2) Getting your licence


-Learn to fly. (through flight school or a personal instructor)
-Take a ground school course.
-Get a minimum of 250 flying hours logged.
-Pass all exams and tests to get your commercial license.
-Complete an instrument rating course.

3) Becoming an airline pilot


-Be a minimum of 23 years of age.
-Have a minimum of 1500 flying hours.
-Get your ATP licence.
