PASSIVE VOICE.

En la voz pasiva lo importante no es quien lleva a cabo la accin, sino la

accin en si; aunque se le puede agregar quien realiza dicha actividad por
ejemplo:
En voz activa : Bill builds a house. (Bill construye una casa).
En voz pasiva: A house is built or A house is built by Bill. (Una casa se
construye o Una casa es construida por Bill).

Passive voice in simple present.

Structure.

Example:
The students are taught by the professor.
The flowers are watered every morning.

Negative.

Examples.
El carro no esta pintado de
azul.
The car is not painted
blue.
El rbol no esta hecho de
billetes.

Interrogative.

Example.

Is the tree made of bills?

Is the car painted blue ?

Passive voice in present perfect.

The clinic has been cleaned by them.

Many books have been written by Thomas.

Negative.

The clinic has not been cleaned by them.

Many books have not been written by Thomas.

Interrogative.

Has the man been caught by the police?

Has the trees been cut?
Have they bought a new car?

Passive voice in present

continuous.

The mail is being delivered by the postman.

(El correo es entregado por el cartero)
The team is being congratulated by the coach.
(El equipo esta siendo felicidado por el entrenador)

Negative.

The mail is not being delivered by the postman.

(El correo no es entregado por el cartero)
The team is not being congratulated by the coach.
(El equipo no esta siendo felicidado por el entrenador)
